Our client was using multiple cloud applications — encompassing CRM, ERP, expense reporting, and other functions — and their infrastructure was located entirely in the cloud. Any transactions between applications were being done manually, which not only took time, but also exposed the organization to the risk of human error. They needed a strategic approach to cloud integration that could accommodate a large number of one-way and two-way data transfers:

Our first step was to complete the project requirements, including integration flows and detailed system-to-system mapping requirements. We then configured and coded the required tasks for implementing the various integration solutions and executed the integration using Informatica Cloud iPaaS.

Successful completion of the project yielded numerous beneficial outcomes, including a dramatic improvement in our client’s partner invoice process as a result of integrating data from its CRM and payables apps. “This allows us to have automation on purchase order generation, receipt creation, and invoice approvals,” said the client’s operations lead, “all of which will enrich the partner invoicing experience through speed and consistency. In addition, the automation will save a substantial amount of time.” In their partner invoice processes alone, our client saves the time equivalent of one full-time employee, with even greater time savings projected in the future.
