Pete joined Primitive Logic in 1999. An expert at working with large-scale, distributed information systems based on Services-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Pete directs Primitive Logic's overall architecture and technology focus, and provides the vision and direction behind the Primitive Logic's SOA Reference Model and its SOA Reference Implementation.

Pete previously served as Chief Architect for Internet Delivery Services at Visa. Pete has provided IT consulting services to several large retail and financial institutions, including Safeway, Wells Fargo, and Bank of America. Pete was the founder and president of Millennium Software. At Millennium, he gained national notoriety when he developed the first commercially available, non-IBM product implementation of advanced SNA software services. He subsequently sold Millenium software to Tandem Computers.

Pete began his career as an IBM mainframe systems programmer in 1976 specializing in SNA network services at GTE and Hewlett-Packard, and subsequently, worked for Tandem Computers as a technical marketing specialist and as the lead developer of system software services.
