This client facing role requires strong project management experience, coupled with the ability and willingness to roll up your sleeves and create deliverables. The successful applicant will have a strong history and track record of completing projects on time and on budget.

As a consulting project manager this person will be required to work closely with project stakeholders and client executives in order to successfully implement the clients’ vision. This role requires strong written and verbal communication skills.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Bachelors Degree in related field required, Advanced Degree preferred
• 7+ years of IT experience, preferably in a consulting context, but corporate experience is acceptable
• Familiarity with Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Rational Unified Process (RUP)
• Hands-on style – willing and competent in producing UML and RUP based deliverables
• Strong business analysis background, skilled in requirements gathering and business process modeling
• Superior verbal and written communication skills, with experience directly working with business as well as technical stakeholders
• Able to lead diverse teams, multi-task, and work under pressure to meet aggressive budget and schedule targets
• Able to develop and maintain project plans, issues logs, status reports, and financial reports
• Teamwork, Ownership, Initiative, and Leadership

Candidates possessing one or more of the following, in addition to the above skills, will be given higher consideration:

• Experience managing and delivering Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) as well as portal solutions on BEA Weblogic 8.1
• Experience with managing the delivery of content management, portal, EAI, or data warehouse solutions
• Experience with engagement and account management, comfortable in participating in business development efforts with a proven track record of expanding or extending accounts
• Proven success in building client accounts and driving customer satisfaction
• Experience across multiple vertical markets such as Financial, Health Care, Retail, Energy, Government, etc.
